The Wooden Match is a bar in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 61 W Lehigh St, Bethlehem, PA 18018, which places it among the local businesses of Bethlehem that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as cigar shop, restaurant, wine bar, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Bethlehem is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bethlehem is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Really cozy and charming restaurant built on a defunct train station and rails. Lots of outdoors seating with great scenery. The food’s reasonably priced with massive portions; this sandwich left me still feeling full going into dinnertime. I think the flavor does leave a lot to be desired, though. This was an extremely heavy and greasy hunk of meat and cheese without any β€œlift”. The bread was far too oily to the point of unappetizing. It needed some more salt and a heavy dose of acid and zing like dijon mustard (the pickles on the side were not enough).

Absolutely love this place. The food has always been fantastic, but they have definitely upgraded if that is even possible.. Love the fact that at the wooden match you can actually smoke cigars inside and outside.. There other place which is across the parking lot. Artisan wine and cheese is non-smoking, which is fantastic same menu. Great people, Great food. Great drinks.l just a wonderful place.

I've been a patron for years. The food has always been great, even if the wait in outside seating can be dodgy. Today, their Cinco de Mayo block party menu included options named "Border Patrol" and "El Chapo" which are at best quite deaf to current events.

Amazing experience dining at the Wooden Match. I grew up going to the Depot but as a kid and young adult, I did not appreciate the history and splendor of the building. Original stone, brick, and exposed wooden beams from 1873 are among just some of features that would marvel a history buff, but I’m here to talk about the food..let’s go! The bone-in ribeye with chimichurri compound butter is a must, flavored and seared to perfection it literally melted in my mouth. Shaved Brussels with candied bacon was the perfect side. Husband had the cheesesteak and said it was the best he’s had in the Lehigh Valley. Kade was our server and he was absolutely magnificent at his job, his amazing personality added so much to the experience. Don’t sleep on this place!

We ate inside. I forgot this was a cigar bar but the food made it worth the smell of smoke. Ive eaten here before outside. We got the pound blt... The bacon was crispy, fresh and plentiful. The sweet and sweaty wings were great. Our drinks were good. The service was attentive. I will go back but when the outside seating is available.
